I'm a Colombian actor, writer and producer based in Tkaronto (Toronto). Some backstory: I was born in Guaraní and Querandí territory (Buenos Aires), raised in Bacatá (Bogotá) and Tenochtitlan (Mexico City). As an actor I work in voice-over (Bakugan: Battle Planet, Paw Patrol), on-camera (Mrs. America (FX), Homemade Christmas), and theatre. I've had the pleasure of working with companies like Aluna Theatre, Studio 180 Theatre, Tarragon Theatre and Factory Theatre on new play development. Recent and notable theatre credits include: Rochdale (SummerWorks) written by David Yee and directed by Nina Lee Aquino and I'm grateful to have been nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for my work in Meet Cute (Roseneath Theatre) written by Erin Norah Thompson and directed by Jill Harper and Aaron Willis. . My first short film script Date Night won the ACTRA Toronto Shorts Competition and has since received official selection from various film festivals across Turtle Island. I'm an alumna of Factory Theatre's playwriting program (The Foundry), and the Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices Professional Development Program.
I'm a graduate of the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performances Studies (Drama Centre) at the University of Toronto, with a Major in Drama and Minors in English and French as a second language (or in my case third), trained at Canada's National Voice Intensive, was part of the Factory Theatre Mechanicals (2016-17), and was one of Cahoots Theatre Company’s 30 for 30 Theatre Makers, which honours 30 theatremakers Cahoots considers the future, and who they think will shape the next 30 years in Canadian theatre.
