I'm a Colombian-Canadian actor and writer. Some backstory: I was born in Buenos Aires, raised in Bogotá and Mexico City, and have called Toronto home for over a decade. Some of my work includes: voicing Lia Venegas on Bakugan: Battle Planet and Hayley Daily Paw Patrol, on-camera I've worked on Mrs. America (FX) and Christmas for Hire, and in theatre I've had the pleasure of working with companies like Aluna Theatre, Studio 180 Theatre, Tarragon Theatre and Factory Theatre on new play development. I'm also grateful to have been nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for my work in Meet Cute (Roseneath Theatre). Recently, my first short film script Date Night won the ACTRA Toronto Shorts Competition last summer and premiered at the Toronto Shorts International Film Festival in November 2019. Currently I'm developing my first full-length play through the Foundry - a playwriting program at Factory Theatre.
I'm a graduate of the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performances Studies (Drama Centre) at the University of Toronto, with a Major in Drama and Minors in English and French as a second language (or in my case third), trained at Canada's National Voice Intensive, was part of the Factory Theatre Mechanicals (2016-17), and was one of Cahoots Theatre Company’s 30 for 30 Theatre Makers, which honours 30 theatremakers Cahoots considers the future, and who they think will shape the next 30 years in Canadian theatre.
